A 30-member trade delegation from Khorasan Province of Iran led by Vice President, Khorasan Razavi Commerce Organisation, M H Kamranfar held meeting with Chief Executive, TDAP, Syed Mohibullah Shah and other senior officials of TDAP on Wednesday to discuss measures for increasing trade volume between the two countries.

It was decided that TDAP would organise exhibition of Pakistani products through Trade Caravan visiting major cities in Iran and Turkey by road and returning by visiting other cities on the way back. This would provide a good opportunity for increasing Pakistani exports to these markets.

Chief Executive, TDAP also extended invitation to Iranian delegation for participation in Expo Pakistan scheduled to be held from 26th to 28th of February 2010 which was warmly received by the members of the delegation who expressed keen desire for participation in Expo Pakistan 2010. It was also decided that TDAP would organise participation of Pakistani exporters in Mashad International Fair along with participation in international exhibition in Tehran.

Possibilities of joint ventures between private sectors of the two countries in agro food, leather, energy sectors milk and dairy products were highlighted as areas with high potential for expanding trade and economic relations between the two countries.-PR
